Did you know that the word deer refers to any member of the Cervidae family which includes moose?
Did you know that bull moose shed their antlers each year after the autumn rut? Bull moose begin to grow antlers again in the Spring covered with a soft velvet. Come autumn, the velvet begins to shed, and then the antlers. Moose Cows (females) do not have antlers.
