Website Navigation Tips
- If you know the title
Use the search by title option found just
after the gallery index on the wattsphoto home page http://wattsphoto.com/gallery. Just
start typing the title, and find the link to the large
display image and purchase information. If you desire
a size not listed, call about availability. Our
photographs are all original signed works each meticulously
prepared, therefore custom requests can be readily
accommodated. We do not sell mass produced reproductions.
- If you know the general
category
Use the pull down menu on the index page.
(Pull-down appears to the left of the "Watts Photographic
Images" banner.) A selection here will get you to an
index page of a relevant gallery. (Example: Clicking
on "Birds" will get you to the Bird Index Page.
Clicking on a specificy bird like "Puffin" will get you to
the Gallery containing Puffins.) Be sure to navigate
around the landing gallery, as it may have other photos of
interest. You can navigate the landing gallery either
by using the prev and next links below the thumbnail images,
or click on any image and use the prev and next arrows just
below the large image. Some subjects can appear in
multiple galleries, so be sure to navigate other related
galleries.
or
Look through the gallery index
and browse galleries of interest. Some links will take
you to a more detailed index from which you can select a
desired subject, or directly to a gallery that you can
browse. Watch for hints on pages that will tell you
what other galleries you may wish to view.
If you do not see the pull down menu* on
the index page, you probably have scripting disabled in your
browser. Allow scripts and it should appear after
refresh. If you know you have scripting enabled, try a
refresh.
*If you are using IE10 the pull down
menu does not work, but be aware that you can get to all
the sub-pages using the gallery index selections.
Navigating this site does not depend on the pull down menu
alone. (However, I
will continue to follow this issue to find a suitable
answer. Curiously enough, this script works just fine
on my iphone which also uses screen touch. This is a
well known issue.
You can always get back to the index page by
clicking on the "Watts Photographic Images" banner that is
displayed at the top of each page.
- Missing Image or Bad Link
Try a refresh. The server may be busy
and timeout or an update may be in progress. These
situations can cause an error message or
missing image. A refresh or two should solve the problem.
If not, an email would be appreciated.
In any case, enjoy browsing, and please do call if you have a
question about an image, size, or subject that you cannot find.
We try to post all images that we take to shows, but please be
aware that we offer some show items in specialty papers.
If you have a question about an item you previously saw at a
show, please call. If you wish to see a particular item at
an upcoming show, please make a request and we will bring that
item. You are under no obligation to purchase by making
such a request.
